The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed in regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the sassa status check Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a large influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the sassa servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
